The art of hosting a flat guest

Today it was wet and cold, and we decided to stay indoors and make hot chocolate, which (as you can imagine) is a very popular drink in places where it gets wet and cold a lot. Sadly, though, it's not very exciting to talk about hot chocolate. So instead I thought I would answer a question some of you might have been wondering about: Where does a flat friend sleep?

Well, you might be surprised to discover that we have had more than one flat friend come to stay with us. So we know the answer. Flat friends sleep on flat beds.

Here is our flat friend guest bed. It might look like a shoebox to you, but I assure you it's luxurious and super comfortable (and earth-friendly into the bargain).

Of course it wouldn't be a true luxury bed without the addition of a flat pillow and flat duvet. Mmm, cozy.

Which reminds me, it's past the Flat Love Magnet's bedtime.

Good night, Flat Love Magnet. Sleep tight! We'll have more adventures tomorrow.

  1. The 3-D Love Magnet says: Flat Love Magnet go sledding? I went sledding. I fell in a hole. There was water. I got wet. Let's go again.

  2. It would be fun if we could take the Flat Love Magnet sledding, but we don't have any snow here! We may be the only place in the U.S. (outside Hawaii) that hasn't had any snow this year. But we will take her down the slide in the park. I think she'll like that.
