Alice in Wonderland premiere

Today we sat in the March afternoon sunlight, smelled the wonderful scent of blooming trees, and ate some French pastries. Mmmm, pastries.

Who is this dashing stranger in the sunlight? Why, it's Captain Midnight, of course!

Here's part of the mural that was painted on the wall where we were sitting. "Can I get another order for the goose, please?"

Anyway, someone in our household... but I am not naming any names... is very, very fond of Tim Burton movies. So much so that when she heard this movie:

was being made, she declared she had--just HAD--to see it on opening day.

And she got all dressed up in Red Queen makeup and clothes...

...and went to see the movie with her friend the Cheshire Cat.

It was a beautiful movie, but definitely too scary for the Flat Love Magnet, so we did not let her watch it. She did get to eat some movie popcorn, though.
