Trips and falls

(Please note: many of the photographs in this adventure and several others were taken by Miss V. She has a good eye.)

Captain Midnight and the guys were busy rolling for initiative today, and Miss V was feeling bored. So we went out on a few errands.

Then we got the idea of taking the Flat Love Magnet on one last outing before it was time for her to travel again.

So we got in the car and drove into the countryside...
where there were many beautiful details to be seen.

Miss V captured many of them with our camera.

We drove to the old railroad town of Snoqualmie.

There we found Snoqualmie Falls Park. The Flat Love Magnet is pointing to it on the map. Can you see where our town is on the map?

Then the Flat Love Magnet spied...

Snoqualmie Falls!
It's really very beautiful. And it's taller than Niagara Falls. (Really, it is!)

The building at the top of the falls is called Salish Lodge. It is a fancy pants hotel and spa.

There were some reminder signs for pedestrians in various places. Remember that short story "A Sound of Thunder"? Yeah, don't go off the path or you could CHANGE the FUTURE! Wow.

We had a good time today. Soon the Flat Love Magnet will be leaving. It makes us sad since we've had so much fun with her.
